About Sonny Tennet
Growing up in a household where Soul, Folk< Country and R&B music were cherished, Sonny was deeply influenced by his parents’ profound love for music and began performing with his Dad in pubs at 14.
After being discovered by his management at 15 while singing in a pub in his hometown, Sonny started travelling to London, to record his debut EP ‘Hopeless Romance’.
2025 marks an exciting new era for 25 year old Sonny Tennet, who has recently come away from his record label and is going it alone as an independent artist.
Sonny’s stand out vocal and unique songwriting ability have gained him over 70M streams to date and in July 24′ he released his debut album ‘Panorama’. Sonny also opened for England at the Euros 24′ base camp in Germany and often plays NUFC at St. James’ Park.
So far, Sonny has had support from Spotify, as well as multiple plays on BBC Radio, including BBCR1 ‘Future Pop’ and ‘Indie Hits’, Patrick Kielty BBC5 Live and BBC introducing featured artist of the week.
