About Monster Florence
Who the F**K is Monster Florence? Originating from Essex, this six-member collective sway between genres defining themselves as one of the UK’s shining alternative bands. Vocalists Dream Mclean, Wallace Rice and Alex Osiris alongside musicians Tom Donovan, Cameron Morrell and Jonny Poole, have created a melting pot of sound blending Hip-Hop, Punk, Jazz, Psychedelic Rock, and everything in between.
Emerging in 2015 they have grown an expansive catalogue receiving widespread acclaim from the likes of NME, Dummy, WordPlay, Trench, CLASH as well as being featured as BBC Radio 1’s track of the week. Whilst playing for some of the UK’s biggest festivals such as Reading and Leeds, and headlining the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury, they have gained a reputation for a high energy and captivating live show.
2023 saw the band release their highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Master System’ which gained huge praise and cemented the boys as truly one of the UK’s hidden gems. They went on to support Professor Green on his UK tour in the April and ending the year selling out their own first UK headline tour.
The boys have been locked away creating a new sound, spear-headed by their latest single ‘PINKY’, there’s an undeniable sense that something special is brewing, and fans eagerly await what’s next. On a clear mission to champion individuality , Monster Florence continues to carve out their niche, consistently pushing the boundaries. Their unwavering dedication to originality ensures they remain a pivotal and influential force in the UK music scene.
