About Face Down – Pop Punk, Metal, Emo Night London

London’s biggest Rock, Pop Punk, Emo, Metal and Alternative party celebrates 18 YEARS OF FACE DOWN this September with our biggest night of the year: EMO PROM.

We’re throwing it right back for a huge anniversary celebration across the whole venue, packed with live bands, DJs, karaoke, pop-ups, Face Down traditions and all the emo nostalgia you could possibly handle.

In the Main Room, we’re celebrating the songs that helped define a generation with live performances from The Re:Used, bringing you a full tribute to The Used, and The Black Charade, taking on the biggest anthems from My Chemical Romance.

Expect screaming every word and huge choruses with chaotic energy, with our resident DJs keeping the party moving from start to finish.

Upstairs in the Metal Room, Away With The Seas take over the stage for an explosive live set, bringing massive riffs, breakdowns and pure chaos before our heavyweight Metal DJs keep things crushing with Metalcore, Deathcore and the heaviest tracks in the scene.

In the Foyer Bar, step inside our Emo Poetry Booth and pour your heart out with all the dramatic, emotional and questionable poetry your teenage self would have been proud of.

Our Emo and Metal Karaoke is also back, giving you another chance to grab the mic and absolutely destroy your favourite alternative anthem in front of a room full of equally committed emos.

And because it wouldn’t be Emo Prom without them, we’ll also be bringing back our annual Face Down Slow Dance and Signing Wall, alongside even more surprises throughout the night as we celebrate 18 years of parties and friendships, questionable decisions.

When the main event comes to an end, we’re still not finished. The official Afterparty* keeps the celebrations going with massive singalongs, genre-bending mashups, remixes and the biggest Alternative anthems until late.
