Calling all you over 30s! Old School Indie is back at Scala, Kings Cross for for the last indie DAYTIME party of 2025 as part of Club de Fromage’s daytime clubbing event. And because it’s Christmas we’ll be going festive and adding a few Chrimbo faves to the mix to get you all that holiday spirit! So grab your Santa hats, dance under that mistletoe and get ready to rock around the Christmas tree before you spend the next week eating Turkey sandwiches surrounded by those annoying members of your family you manage to avoid for the rest of the year..

TWO clubs for the price of one!

We’ll be taking over the upstairs room at the the legendary Scala to bring you 4 hours of non-stop indie bangers whilst Club de Fromage host the main room playing their classic blend of retro pop. The best bit, you can wander between the two rooms as much as you like.

Kicking off at 3pm until 7pm you can expect 4 hours of non-stop indie/rock faves from the likes of Blur, The Clash, Pulp, The Smiths, David Bowie, The Cure, Arctic Monkeys, Blondie, The Strokes, The Jam, Nirvana, Oasis, Joy Division and obviously a few Christmas classics to get you into that festive spirit

Should you, for any bizarre reason, want to leave the indie club you’re free to wander in and out of the adjoining downstairs venue where Club de Fromage will be transforming the venue into their own little winter wonderland complete with a visit from Santa Claus, playing pop from the likes of ABBA, Queen, Britney, Whitney, The Spice Girls, Bon Jovi, Prince, Daft Punk, Wham!, Fleetwood Mac, Madonna, A-Ha, and more, as well as the Fromage stage show and all your fave Christmas pop classics too.

We’ll be finished by 7pm so you’ll be free to swan off and spend your evening in a swanky restaurant, at the cinema or just go straight home to grab a takeaway and watch Love Actually.

With a strict door policy of no under 30s (please bring ID) there is no chance of you rubbing shoulders with anyone who can’t sing the entire version of Babies or Going Underground.
