“We’re a band, and someday we won’t be a band”. Foxing’s unofficial moto captures something of the uniqueness of the St. Louis quartet’s ephemeral world view. Even their name – an oblique reference to the process by which document paper ages – is a subtle reminder that all things are fleeting. It’s this sense of capturing something special in the moment that makes their live shows so thrilling, and why, we suspect, every time they play London they play to bigger and bigger crowds.
