About The Sunshine Underground

The Sunshine Underground follow the announcement of their upcoming third album with the explosive Finally We Arrive, released on 9th June 2014.

The single precedes their highly anticipated eponymous third album, which is released via Lovers/Absolute on 19th May. Produced by Ross Orton (MIA, Arctic Monkeys), The Sunshine Underground, is a reinvention of sorts, a refocusing on their first love – electronic music.

Finally We Arrive is the moment it all came together in the studio for TSU, “this track became a benchmark for how the rest of the album was going to sound” says frontman Craig Wellington, “a real breakthrough in what we were trying to achieve with this record”.

The overall result is an album nobody would have expected. A clean slate and self-titled purposefully to hit home this feeling of identity, the hard beats and glittering synths mix with The Sunshine Underground’s original dance-punk origins to create an almighty collection of contemporary electronic songs.

Finally We Arrive comes backed with remixes by Justin Robertson, Tyde, and Loucet.
