Squid are announcing a special one-off headline show at London’s Scala on 9th February 2023 with Bristol band Quade as support. The iconic Kings Cross venue was supposed to host their headline show in support of their debut album Bright Green Field but, for reasons no one needs reminding, ended up being rescheduled and then cancelled. Squid have become known for using their live shows as a way of previewing new material alongside fan favourites and are excited to finally make this show happen. It will offer a glimpse of their developing experimentation in songwriting over the last 12 months.
Amongst their heavy touring schedule throughout 2022, Squid performed a standout, televised set at Glastonbury, Primavera (Barcelona and LA), Somerset House, the inaugural Pitchfork Berlin, two US tours and played Eastern Europe for the first time.
