About Pidżama Porno

Pidżama Porno was created in December 1987 on the initiative of Krzysztof Grabowski and Andrzej Kozakiewicz, then students of the University of Poznań. In 1989, they recorded their first material, titled “Ulice jak stigmata”. At the same time, they made their debut on the Big Stage of the Festival in Jarocin, the Festival in Sopot and were the first Polish underground band to play in Prague. In 1990, Pidżama Porno recorded their second album “Futurista” in Szczecin. The band was accompanied by Kasia Nosowska, who was unknown at that time. The album “Futurista” had its official premiere only in 1996. Marcin Świetlicki, in Tygodnik Powszechny, wrote about “a miraculously found, missing chain in Polish rock”.

Since September 2014, Pidżama Porno has been operating as a trio. composed of: Grabaż, Kozak and Kuzyn In 2019, the group, together with bassist Longin Lo and guitarist Piotrek Załęski, moored at Rock Sun Studio in Pleszew. There was one goal: to record the first studio album of Pidżama Porno in 15 years, containing only premiere songs. 12 songs have been recorded. The album is free from any electronics, it is 100% guitar-based. The premiere of “The Salesman of Tomorrow” will take place on September 27. The author of the excellent album cover is Andrzej Pągowski. The first single promoting ” Sellers of Tomorrow ” is “Hokey Castle”. The second single and music video can be expected around the album’s release.
