About Louise

Louise unveils her Intimate & Live Tour 2018 off the back of her first headline solo show in over 15 years selling out in under 10 minutes.

To accompany these live shows, Louise has revealed reworked versions of some of her classic tracks, including ‘Stay’, originally released by Eternal in 1993 on their quadruple-platinum selling studio album, ‘Always & Forever’, becoming the first album by a female group to reach over a million record sales in the UK. Louise has also reworked her solo single ‘2 Faced’, with more sessions to follow.

One of the UK’s most successful female recording artists of all time, and with a body of work spanning nearly 25 years, Louise will be revisiting some of her biggest hits including the R&B-tinged ‘One Kiss from Heaven’, power-anthem ‘Naked’, classic tracks from her time in Eternal, as well as some of her favourite covers. Louise followed this success with 12 UK top 20 solo singles, 9 of which were reached the top 10, and three platinum-selling solo albums; ‘Naked’ (1996), ‘Woman In Me’ (1997) and ‘Elbow Beach’ (2000), with combined record sales of over 15 million in the UK alone.

Louise said: “I went back into the studio to rework some of my original tracks and it reminded me that pop music was my first love. Performing is a part of me and I’m very excited to be announcing this show. I can’t wait to be back on stage performing all of the hits as well as a few of my favourite covers.”

The likes of Justin Bieber, Anne Mac and Mista Jam already picked up on gifted and dynamic singer-songwriter Rothwell, now the rest of the world can catch up as she releases the anthemic single ‘Freedom’ on 8th December.
