About HATC Festival 2022
After a two year hiatus this year’s HATC Festival is officially set to be bigger and better than ever. The 2022 edition promises more – more stages, more bands, more punters, and more entertainment all coming together to form an incredible line up of acts known for getting parties started, with a huge headliner and rising stars all under one roof!
Taking place at their new home, London’s iconic SCALA in Kings Cross, on the 25th September the festival marks a huge jump in scale after three years at The Camden Assembly, but still holds on to their original founding values with focus on new up-and-coming talent as well as supporting mental health charity Mind.
The festival headliners for 2022 will be indie icons The Mystery Jets, fresh off their A Billion Hearts album tour, with support from Coventry five-piece Feet, THE K’s known for an eclectic mix of punk rock and indie pop, Liverpool legend ZUZU who will get the 800 strong crowd dancing, alternative soul VC PINES, BLACKWATERS while Leeds based newcomers Alfie Blue, London DIY group Buggs and LOW GIRL kick off the festivities on the Mainstage. But don’t forget to keep your eyes on HATC’s social pages for more acts to be announced soon!
Music Promotions platform Groover will be taking over the second stage located in the balcony with an Obsessions Showcase of up-and-coming artists from across the London area. Rooskin, National Service, Danny Star and Lemzi will be entertaining crowds as they grab something to eat at the catering station exclusively serviced by street food legends The Mac Factory.
“HATC FEST is all about having fun while raising money for some very important causes. We want to bring people acts that lift spirits and make you dance while also supporting new talent just starting on the circuit. Inspired by recent reports into the benefits of live music for mental wellness, a purposefully intimate crowd will be able to experience fantastic headliners and some amazing new acts. And with the specially designated wellness zone, we will also be able to see how live entertainment can be more supportive for fans struggling with mental health.” – Jade Poulters, Director.
