About Gaudi & Almamegretta Dub Box
A call for all dub lovers, a very well-known Italian band called ALMAMEGRETTA is coming to London to perform their unique ethnic/dub show: deep dub bassline and drums. Almamegretta has been touring with their new project called “DUB BOX” over the past year, supplying powerful rhythms and performing the band’s best known, songs such as “Sanacore”,”Fattala'”, “Black Athena” and many more.
The headline artist is very popular in the electronic/reggae dub music scene. He is UK based Italian producer GAUDI, who keeps his ever-growing fan base returning to the dance floor with his infectious bass-driven tunes and innovative live performances. Honouring the traditions of old school dub by performing on stage without a computer, Gaudi’s incredible sonic manipulations are interwoven with live Theremin, Moog, Vocoder, Tape Echoes, Percussion and live vocals – all of which makes for a one-of-a-kind experience not to be missed. He will be supported by Mc Danny Ladwa.
Last but not least, as a special guest for the big Italian Reggae/Dub night: Miss Fritty.
