About Megan McKenna

Fresh from showcasing her love of country music on her own ITVBe show ‘There’s Something About Megan’, Megan has released two country songs is currently back in the studio working on her debut album.

Megan honed her talent when she was younger by studying full time at The Arts Educational theatre school in London. Megan reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent at the tender age of 16 in the female singing duo Harmony and then reached the six chair challenge of the X Factor in 2014. Megan who is from Woodford, Essex previously appeared on ITV’s TOWIE where she auditioned for and was chosen to be a member of Jess Wright’s girl band Lola. Therefore, when the call came last year for Megan to make a cameo appearance on TOWIE’s 200th episode, Megan was thrilled and accepted. After an overwhelmingly positive response to her cameo by the viewers, Megan was asked by producers to become a full-time cast member.

Megan has been exploring her interests in make-up by launching her very own cosmetics brand ‘Mouthy by Megan’ and her latest venture is her very own fine dining restaurant ‘MCK Grill’ which opened in the Spring of 2017 and due to Megan being a coeliac she has ensured that the menu is 90% gluten free but still equally as delicious!

As well as continuing to film TOWIE, Megan says music in particular singing is definitely her passion so she eagerly accepted the opportunity to sing on the West End Stage at the Adelphi Theatre alongside Strictly Come Dancing professionals Gleb Savchenko and Kristina Rihanoff at the end of 2016.
